Unlike other countries Radio in America is a major medium to stay updated. Despite other latest technology available in the market, Radio remain successful to keep the people tuning in.

This is proved from the recent survey from Edison Research, which ranked AM/FM radio at top with 19% Americans choose radio to stay updated with the latest musical hits.

Second spot stole by YouTube with 15% of respondents saying that they use the platform most often to stay update.

Spotify follows with 10 percent while Pandora is the Fourth most popular online choice with 9 percent.

The latter just launched its premium music streaming service but it might prove a tall order to loosen radio’s stranglehold on music discovery.
